Here is a glance at some things we will be doing this upcoming season.  Get your calendar ready! This schedule is subject to change… But you will be informed… Any questions feel free to email or call me.

·         First Fittings-Saturday June 26th 2010 Time and place TBA (even for returner you may want to come to get fitted for your camp/practice wear)

·         Final Fitting-Saturday July 17th 2010 Time and place TBA (even for returner you may want to come to get fitted for your camp/practice wear)

·         ALL FINAL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BY MONDAY JULY 26th.

·         Saturday July 24th Mandatory  Parent Meeting for both Football & Cheer @11am Place TBA

·         Physicals done by league Thursday July 29th beginning @ 5pm Place TBA $15 (All Players and Cheerleaders MUST have a physical done before they can come to practice.

·         FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE!!! Monday August 2nd. Pls BRING PLENTY of Water.

All practices UNLESS told by your coach starts @5:30 end @7:30pm PROMPLTY.

·         THE BLING LADY IS COMING!! Buy your BLINGED tanks and Tee’s for the season, August 4th 2010 during practice. Proceeds will go to our cheer program.

·         Monday August 9th End of practice General Informational Cheer meeting for all teams.

·         Friday August 13th NO PRACTICE FOR CHEER…

·         Saturday  August 14th JAMZ cheer camp for all teams (Mighty Mite team 8am-10 Pee Wee 10am -3)..  More information on camp to follow SOON.

·         Annual FUN day for the GIRLS!!! Pool party @ Coach Angelia House! Saturday August 21st   detail to follow….

·         First Game Saturday August 28th.

·         OEC competition TBA

·         Regional Weekend in San Diego for Pee Wee (if qualified)  Sunday November 20th

·         JAMZ Competion for MM team Sunday November 21st in Anahiem, CA

·         Nationals   in Florida (if qualified) December 5th-11th.

·         Optional JAMZ NATIONALS in Las VEGAS  January 28th- January 31st

·         League Banquet January 2011 Place and Time TBA

We will be going to HARRAH’s Casino again for the turnaround 5 seats sold per girl $25 each. I am working on Two dates. Any Idea you may have for fundraiser PLEASE share.

Pop Warner Cheer  

 Cheerleading was officially recognized in the 1970’s, but has been a part of the Pop Warner program for

  several decades. The first ever National Cheerleading competition was held in DeKalb County, GA. Today,

  120,000 children are participating in cheerleading and dance around the United States.

 

  Participation in the Pop Warner Spirit Program provides kids an opportunity to perform in an organized,

  supervised, safety-oriented environment. Pop Warner programs emphasize fun for all and encourage the

  development of qualities important long after Pop Warner days are gone.

 

  The Spirit Program is growing in numbers each year due to the popularity of the sport. In an effort to

  keep pace with the many new changes in the cheer & dance industry, there are a few basic rules that

  are unique to Pop Warner Spirit Squads. For a complete list of Pop Warner guidelines, please download

 North Long Beach Cheer  Our program offers a fun and friendly environment where girls could practice and compete in cheer and dance competitions with little or no experience. Girls do not have to try out for to be a part of our team. Some of the activities includes but not limited to:
